So Far...

Current Weigh In: 159.6
Lost: -5.6 lbs

SYNOPSIS
Progress is a slow process but it's worth it every second. I've been actually dedicated and getting more consistent with staying on track to get to my goal weight and a healthier life. I see my stomach starting to flatten, my arms getting more defined, my calf & legs getting muscular and my thighs tightening.

DIET
This month I've so far incorporated a lot of fruits, vegetables and a whole lot of water into my diet. I've cut out fried food extensively and have yet to eat out at a restaurant or fast food place. It's not even my desire to have it either [so proud of me]. I don't necessarily keep track of my eating habits with a food diary but it's basically been the same thing every day: granola cereal or an egg white veggie omelet for breakfast, various fruit for lunch and a vegetable-filled dinner. If i'm up to having dessert I'll get some yogurt with granola or a little sliver of lemon cream meringue pie [that's now my Achilles Heel lol]. the savory flavors I incorporate in my foods make me not even miss deep fried, greasy, butter-drenched, extra cheesy foods.

EXERCISE
I only went to the gym i think 2x with Carrie this week but have been doing the Slim in 6 Phase 2: Ramp it Up exercises every day except Sunday, Tuesday & today. These next few weeks I'll be doing these exercises daily to compensate for my missed days this week. Plus I'm still blessed to have my waitressing job that keeps me on my feet constantly moving at least 4 hours a day. With the working out I've been doing, I feel it horribly BURNING in my thighs [all due to squats, plies, leg lifts and lunges] and when I want to quit I just know it's all mind over matter and push through it, remembering the goal body I want to have.
